What is Meditation?

Meditation is both a state of heightened awareness, as well as a practice designed to attain this state. In meditation, the mind is calm, focused, and one pointed. There is a sense of well being, calmness, and timelessness. 

Why take a meditation class?

A meditation teacher will take you to a deeper experience of meditation. The personal connection you share with a teacher is important in order to guide you through personal blocks and obstacles that may disconnect you from your practice. Meditating in group has also been proved to enhance one's meditation practice, by creating a sense of community and support. While taking a meditation class, you will get direct experience and applicable knowledge, as well as the support and inspiration you need. 

Our Meditation Classes

There are countless styles of meditation. At Salt & Spirit Wellness we offer different classes to support all students. 

Breath Work - This class will focus on different breathing techniques specifically targeted to work with the nervous system, creating a positive, fresh, and balanced experience.  / Saturdays, from 9:30 to 10:20 am / Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 pm

Kundalini Yoga and Gong Bath - This class is designed to increase energy and vibration through breathing, Yoga, and meditation, balancing the glandular system. You will leave the class feeling refreshed, radiant, vibrant, and energized. / Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm/ Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:00 am / Saturdays, 4:00 to 5:15 pm
